Concert for the Future of Venice Floating Autumn
23 September | 21.00-22.00 | Basilica del Santissimo Redentore
A concert culminating with the world premiere of Italian composer Carmen Fizzarotti's special Venice version of Autumn from The [Uncertain] Four Seasons, a global project recomposing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons through an algorithm developed by composers, musicians, climate and computer scientists using geospatial climate predictions for 2050. The aim of the project is to remind citizens and politicians of our need to reverse biodiversity loss by 2030. Performances of The [Uncertain] Four Seasons are taking place around the world and will be streamed in advance of the 1 November 2021 COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, UK.
